Plugged in the RV to pre cool my Dometic 2862 fridge and after letting it run overnight, it wasn’t the slightest bit cold. Switched over to propane, it worked. Dodged a bullet since I didn’t want to go on our 5 day trip with the old cooler and ice routine.
Got back home and started doing some research and once again YouTube to the rescue

My issue was the control board but while I was at it, for another $20 I replaced the heating element too.

Fairly easy job and as usual, the multi meter and knowing how to use it comes in very handy when owning an RV. Especially when these repair places are so far away and all backed up with work.
