Dometic fridge runs only on propane

2014 Solera S. Dometic fridge runs well on propane. Will not run on electricity. Any ideas on trouble shooting and fixing?

I checked the breaker by the door and nothing was tripped. I also checked the fuses in the panel available when you remove the exterior vented panel

Is there another breaker area?

On my TT, the AC cord for the fridge was plugged into a receptacle that you could see when you took off the lower outside grill. And since it was accessible from the outside, it was run from a GFCI. Check that the receptacle isn't itself a GFCI, or daisy-chained from a GFCI, that needs to be reset.

Take the frig panel off the outside of your camper and make sure its plugged in. I just had this same problem with mine a few hours ago. The lights on the frig still worked because they run off of 12v.

Still will not work

It is plug into the receptical. I could find no GFI near plug and wires disappear into a wall. I did check the GFI by the bathroom sink and it had tripped. I reset it. Fridge still did not come on when I turned it on.
Any other ideas?

take off outside grille and see if there is power to the fridge outlet (tester or plug in a fan or light).
If there is power to the outlet and fridge won't run...it's the fridge or heater element or a broken wire.

For 2 years now i've the opposite problem- the fridge won't start on propane. IF i can get the pilot lit and stays lit i'm good - it will cycle -usually. Like going down the road. I've changed the ignitor...think my issue is the control module.

I had ZERO luck finding troubleshooting assistance on line (charts, manuals, test procedures, etc).

Good luck.

Thanks guys. Apparently the fridge GFI is the receptacle by the bathroom faucet. The coils are heating up and the freezer and fridge are starting to .cool.
Moral of the story for Solera owners: if fridge does not come on, check GFI next to bathroom sink

if you are completely sure you have A?C voltage at the refrigerator outlet. Then turn of the power to that plug at the breaker, remove the cover on the circuit board ( Black box on back of refrig.) and check the two fuses on the board. You may have gotten a surge of power to blow one of the fuses.

Hillsdaletc, check post number 4. First thing I checked was those two fusea. Thanks for trying to help. It was a tripped GFI.

when mine went out the light on the front blinked 3 times pause 3 more blinks. The heating element had burned out for the electrical plus the "bakelite" around the reset switch broke.

Read a couple of posts above where the problem and solution have already been posted.

Dometic fridge runs only on propane

Agreed - was checking this plug socket today and didn't know it was GFCI controlled. Learned something new.
