2-way means propane and 120v AC electric.
Generally, 3-way fridges(12v DC, propane, 120v AC)are small fridges with small area for ice tray. They are found in folding trailers, truck campers and tiny trailers.
They don't have a separate freezer.
Most RVs have 2-way fridges.
Some larger RVs are now coming with residential fridges that only run on 120v AC and use an inverter to invert 12v DC power to 120v AC electric power. They require a large bank of 6v golf cart batteries.
Suggest that you Google "the 12 Volt Side of Life" to understand how the two different electrical systems work in RVs.
