Dometic refer RM1350 4-door ice on fins

We have been in southern Alabama since beginning of November. Our refrigerator is a 2016 4 door model. (Our coach is a 2017 which we purchased in June 2016.)

Anyway we have notice an ice buildup on the fins. This morning the fins were completely iced over. In the past we have heard the hum of the refrig heater. Now we have not heard it for at least a week. The weather here has been in the 70'

We also noticed the frig temperature readout has been running warmer.

Any suggestions.

Check your door seals. If they are allowing warm humid air in, then that will cause icing and reduced efficiency. Take a dollar bill and close it in the doors and pull it out. You should feel some resistance as you pull it out. Work your way all around the doors. If you can pull it out with little or no resistance, then your seals are going bad.

We are having the same problem. We have been in the Panhandle of Florida for the past 3 weeks, and have noticed the fridge running warmer. The back of the compartment is all ice. Will try the dollar bill trick.

What we finally had to do was, turn the fridge off and take the items off the top shelf and use the blow dryer to thaw ice. Working fine now.
