Decided today to bring the trailer up to the house to start loading it for our next outing. The trailer had been plug in and the refrigerator was working fine out by the shop. Now I noticed it has the check light on while running on the battery today. I haven't tried it on the gas setting yet but just curious what the check light might be. Of course no manual for the unit and I will need to print one out from online. Anyone else had this issue? New to RVing.

If it's running only on battery, the battery might be low. If you have voltmeter check battery, should be more than 12 volts. Otherwise plug in shore power and see if check light goes out. By the way, is the gas on? It needs to be on if running on battery.

The check light means it is not getting propane. The fridge does not run on battery alone, the battery powers the circuits so the propane can light etc. so you either are connected to 110 AC (shore power) or run propane, one or the other.

I should have listened better and took more notes during PDI process. I'm sure this wont be the last stupid question I ask. I do really appreciate the quick responses though.
