Dometic Refrigerator check light on 110v

We have a Dometic DM2652 refrigerator. While plugged in to shore power and in the auto mode, the check light will come on and the unit will shut off. The frequency is pretty random but happens in around 48 or so and many times in the middle of the night. I did put a new, updated control unit in it about 4 years ago to combat a gas lighting problem. I have reseated all connectors.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have a solution?
