I did the replacement this morning with my son. It took longer to think about it, than to do it. I did not want to, and could not easily totally remove the fridge completely. And THANKS to dea49, confirmed it could be done without that. I only had 5 inches of space without removing the heater thermostat from the wall in front.
Old Hose wasn't even connected any longer.
There are literally 7 screws and the gas line holding the whole thing in.
I replaced with some standard hose from HD.
Outside: Turn off propane (and I ran the stove to dissipate gas from lines.)
Inside: Pull the DC fuse.
Outside: Unplug AC cord from wall.
Outside: Disconnect propane line to fridge.
Verify no power to unit.
Outside: Remove 2 screws on outer edges of fridge at the base.
Outside: I did not need to remove the DC power cord, as there was plenty of length after removing 1 screw that holds the DC connector. (in pic above)
Inside: Remove top panel by pushing up on clips and pulling panel out.
Inside: Remove bottom panel by removing 2 screws and pulling panel out.
Inside: Remove aluminum tape and 2 screws.
Inside and Outside: With help slide/rock fridge forward until you can reach up to hose.
Outside: cut zip ties for hose.
Inside and Outside: Hold drain tray in place while pushing hose onto the back (outside) of pipe extending outside. Zip tie hose in place.
Outside: Run hose and zip tie as required.
Outside: My particular trailer required me to re-install as it was previously. You can do this in any form to make it drain outside. (drill a hole, connect to existing drain hole, etc . . . )
Inside and Outside: Slide/rock fridge back into original location making sure gas connector aligns with source line.
Reinstall in reverse order
I resealed the top inside screws with new HVAC tape.
orignal grate/plug/cap for the hose.
Done in less than an hour total.
Can't seem to get the pictures in the right order, sorry.
