Dometic Refrigerator freezing

I have a Winnebago Micro Minnie with a Dometic Refrigerator model #2652.
It freezes all the time. The slide that slides up and down the fin to regulate temperature doesn't change anything. There are no wires attached to this slide. I don't see any wires to be attached to this slide. Please help fix this issue.

Dometic Refrigerator freezing

The slide device covers the temperature sensor that looks like a white cylinder maybe two inches long. The sensor has wires going to it. The purpose of the slide is to adjust how much of the sensor is exposed thus regulating the temperature. See if the sensor fell out of the sliding holder. This happens easily.Click image for larger version

I have this problem too, but my sensor slide is missing. Anyone have a workaround?

you should have a wire attached to the slider. my 2652's thermister does.
how else would it control the temp, with no wire?

go to a dealer and get a slide. Any dealer will have one. you must have one. the blub on the end of the wire must be on the fins.

If you don't have the manuals for your appliances you an look up the make and model numbers at the appliance manufacturers website. Many manufacturers have owners and service manuals you can download. The owners and service manuals will have the part numbers listed. If you have a tablet or pc you can download copies and store them on the drive or usb thumb drive.

Also there is a Library section on these forums which members have uploaded manuals to.
