Dometic refrigerator removal?

Hello. I searched this subforum for "remove refrigerator" but found nothing useful. I searched the web, as well, and found useful information but none resulted in my being able to remove my refrigerator. Help?

I installed my Progressive Industries hard-wired EMS in the floor behind the power panel, which is below the refrigerator in my 2507S. I want to run the wire for the remote display between the refrigerator and the wall, so I can mount the display at eye level next to the microwave. To do that I need to slide the refrigerator out a little so I can route the wire up the side, and I can't figure out how to do that.

I found a couple of screws in the bottom interior frame, drilled into the wood framing the cabinet. I also found a screw in the bottom rail at the back of the refrigerator behind the access panel. (They're was only one. The other side is missing.) I removed those but the refrigerator is still solid as a rock.

What am I missing? There doesn't seem to be any cosmetic facia on the inside hiding other screws. The rails on the back have sealant on the but it doesn't seem to be enough to secure it as firmly as it is.

It's a Dometic model DM2872RBX.

Any ideas?

Thanks

even a small amount of sealant can hold things in place. Did you check around the top of the the frig. I think I would pull the chimney cap and look from the top to be sure and if there is a space (inside) above the fridge i would remove the paneling and check for screws. good luck let the forum know what you find.

Try looking up Rv cooling unit replacement. There should be many that show up several have the removal directions at the beginning of the videos.

There should be 2 screws at the top in the front, almost identical position to the 2 you removed at the bottom.

I referred to the installation manual for my unit to understand how to remove it. The install manual came with my trailer but you can likely find yours on the web.

Example. https://www.dometic.com/assets/46/94...4.pdf?att=true

I'd like to express my appreciation for advice shared here. I finally found the screws on the top inner frame. They were well hidden behind two small pieces of black metallic tape which were finished to look like the frame.

Because the poor lighting in the trailer cast a shadow on the inner frame, I couldn't see the very faint edges of the tape square. I just happened to see it at a certain angle. It shows up in the picture below only because of the flash.

After peeling the tape and removing the screws, the refrigerator was obviously loose. However, as Seadog described, a very small of adhesive held the back rail very securely. I was able to slice through that but had to be very careful because the gas hose came up into the rear compartment at exactly the same point.

In the end, I was successful mounting the display for my EMS on the outside of the refrigerator cabinet.

Again, thanks for the help.Click image for larger version

I know it's a little late, but next time try YouTube. I need to pull mine and I think I remember a video on there.

I did. That's where I learned about the screws in the back rail, in addition to some in the front. None that I found referred to the upper screws being hidden behind tape. I was looking for rubber plugs or removable cosmetic panels. The manufacturer camouflaged it well, which was the point of them doing that in the first place.
