Dometic RM1350 - Gas only works when slideout is extended

I own a 2011 Georgetown 360 with a 2 door Dometic RM1350 fridge. The fridge is located in the main slideout. The problem is that the gas burner only ignites when the slideout is extended. The fridge has no other issues besides this. Any ideas why this would be happening would be appreciated.

The slide itself probably has a propane pipe line but that pipe line is probably fed by a flexible gas hose and sounds like it might kink when slide is retracted. Get under the slide and check it out.

Thanks for the quick reply!

It indeed looks like the hose is kinking. Looks like a failure point for a major gas leak!

That was my first thought when I read the symptom.

Can you reroute the hose or loop it so it doesn't kink when the slide is retracted?
I'm sure you're planning on it, but when you get the replacement hose you may want to get a longer one.

The hose needs to be replaced. The cord structure is broken in hose at the pinch point. You can likely order from online but use gas pipe dope or yellow gas rated T tape on the threads.
