2652 dometic fridge

I go through this every time.
it does take 2+ hours from hot or warm temps.
Moons ago i bought a fridge thermometer
and put it in the fridge as that is really the
only way to really know what the temp is.

In saying that, most 2652's have the temp adjustment
on the fins at the top of your fridge area.
if you have a thermometer you can adjust to your desired
temp by raising or lowering the temp sensor on the fins.

i can't tell you how many times my temp
was very cold but by touch it felt warm.
trust the thermometer reading. :-)

hope this helps

Mine takes a good 4 hours to get to temp when we first turn it on.

Your fridge operates on absorption, which is different than a residential fridge.
So it takes much longer.

2 hours isn't long enough, 4 hours would be minimum.

Most let it cool overnight before leaving on a trip.

I generally leave mine 24 hours. Place a couple bottles of water in the freezer and let the them freeze. This forces the frig to work hard to cool down (the frig has to run more to cool those water bottles than it does to cool 1 cu ft of air)

It takes longer to cool the refrigerator on electric than it does on propane. Even so, it will take a good 12 hours or more before the refrigerator will drop to a temperature cold enough for food.

You will find more information by reading the owner’s manual for your model refrigerator.

Thanks everyone, you all have great information, got up this morning and checked Refrigerator ,I put a thermometer in there last night, it was 36 degrees. Shuuu, glad it works first time ever using a RV fridge. But i do have a question, I have thermostat set on coldest setting ,the freezer and fridge are empty, the fridge opens good but freezer acts like it has a suction when you open the freezer door, it was easy to open before I turned it on. There is no ice around seal, what y'all think?
