Dometic RM4223

I have been having an issue using my Dometic RM4223 refrigerator on propane. I have done a lot of troubleshooting and determined its the gas thermostat. I have discovered the part has been discontinued and impossible to find.

Part 411B.

I did find a similar thermostat on ebay that matches the gas connection part number but the thermostat is slightly different. I decided to try it.

On its lowest setting (warmest) the fridge gets to around 28-30 degrees and only gets colder as you increase the thermostat to higher (colder).

The only idea i had that might work (making assumptions) would be to change the Jet #43 to something smaller to restrict the flame size more.

Does this sound like a viable solution?

Does anyone know if the dometic jet numbers are linear? For example Jet 43 is stock, Jet 20 is smaller, Jet 60 is larger?

Anyone have an experience to share doing something similar?

These jets are very expensive for that they are. I am seeing like $40 each, so not quite the same as buying cheap carb jets.

Thanks
