I have a new wildwood trailer that I went out today and tried to turn the AC on and the control pad was flashing E2. Any suggestions. I tried to resetting everything but it wouldnt work. I am having problems finding a solution.

Well been digging all over the internet and if it is over 110 inside the camper the thermostat will flash E2. Dometic is aware of this and is replacing the thermostat. I actually was going to replace mine with a digital thermostat from homedepot but the one in the camper only has 3 wires on it. a 12+ comm and ground. I couldnt figure out how to adapt one. So my dealer has ordered a replacement.

I started it early this morning before the heat of the day and it was fine.

Does anyone know how to adapt a 3 wire dometic thermostat to a normal one?

Thanks guys

Daniel
