Double climate control!

We own and 2020 No Boundaries 16.2 trailer which we bought from Camping World new. When you turn on the heater the air conditiner turns on a minute or so later. Camping World has been unable to diagnose the issue but has tried replacing the the Dometic thermostat which did not work. I have emailed Dometic but they failed to respond. Any suggestions?

is the fan on your thermostat set to auto? if on hi or low, i believe the ac fan turns on as well as the furnace... at least i think thats how mine works...LOL been a few months since i needed the furnace...

If the fan is set to Hi/Lo, it (the fan) should run continuously. The AC compressor shouldn’t kick on if the furnace is running.

it wasnt clear if the ac compressor was running, or just the fan in the ac unit.
