Dual zone thermostat

I have a 2016 Heritage Glen 276rlis 5th wheel. The unit has 2 Dometic air conditioners from the factory. Instead of using a single dual zone thermostat they installed 2 thermostats next to each other in the living room. Both units tend to fight each other since the sensor isn't in the bedroom. On my old trailer I had a remote sensor in the bedroom. I haven't taken the thermostats off the wall to look at them but how hard would it be to add a dual zone thermostat with a sensor in the bedroom?

The first thing I'd do is take the cover off the bedroom thermostat and make sure it doesn't have a remote thermistor.

If one doesn't already exist, it may be a bit of a challenge to add one, depending on access from one place to the other. You may be better off moving the entire (or adding a new) thermostat in the bedroom and running the wiring from the A/C to the new t-stat location.

There isn't a sensor in the bedroom. That's what so goofy about the way they installed it. That's a good idea to just move one of them to the bedroom. I can get to the basement underneath both rooms. Then extend the wires to the bedroom.
