First, your unit should still be under warranty if you purchased it from a dealer. The warranty isn't based on the manufacture date, it's based on the purchase date... i.e. If you purchased it July 1st 2016, it's under warranty until July 1st 2017.
This unit had more than one head unit as an option, if you can post a pic of the head unit it would be helpful.
You can always call the manufacturer and give them info on your unit. They can at least give you the info on how to determine which head unit you have, and maybe how to fix your problem. Their custom chassis customer service number is 1-864-487-1700.
