F10AL 250v fuse

Radio under warranty
Camp Out RV didn’t have the fuse, said go get one.
Been to 5 places, no one has in stock.
‘Experts’ have ?s about why it’s a 250v, advised to get a 10v, turn off power, install fuse, and see what happens.
Completely mystified that a little glass battery has taken up 3 days and no real solution.
Trying the 10v. Crossing fingers!

Anyone out there have this experience?

250 is just the rating, all glass fuses are 250 v rated. Just match the amps and you're fine

Fuse

Not true.

Some glass fuses are rated at 32Volts. These are suitable for automotive systems but ARE NOT suitable for 120-volt service.

According to Cooper-Bussman the F10AL is a 10 amp "fast acting" fuse, 125V/250V, widely used in household appliances and automotive accessories.

They are readily available on Amazon.

I'm guessing that "little glass battery" and "10v" was just misspoken by the OP.

Thank you to everyone who gave me info!

Turns out there are a variety of lengths of these fuses. Once I added that to the other info kindly provided here, I ordered the correct length from Amazon.
