Wouldn't it be nice if FR would have put a little blurb in the Owner's Manual about how the devil these trailer systems were wired!
I went though the same thing with my Dish satellite though the trailer wiring; you know...a small decal or stick on label next to the booster saying "In for antenna" and "OUT for satellite" wouldn't cost that much and would really have helped. I have a 2014 Windjammer 3001w and there is no, none, zero, zip, nada, nothing in the way of explaining how the h#ll they wired the coax in the trailer. Forget about it, no diagram, didn't even mention it in the manuals and I DO/DID read all and owner's manuals. I finally emailed the tech department in FR and got some guy to tell me about the splitter and booster. He said he didn't even have a wiring diagram for the coax system,
! I guess Bubba Earl is just slapping in the coax however he likes instead of by a plan.
Love everything else about the trailer except they don't set it up for modern electronics and they don't tell you how to operate it.
So turn booster OFF if you are connected to your satellite or park cable, turn it ON (green light lit) if you are on your trailer antenna.
