FR 2004 Sunseeker Microwave

New to this Forum. Good ,what ever the time of day it is in your neck of the woods. I am seeking information on the Sunseeker Magic Chef microwave. It lights up and you can put a time, Or press a setting but when you press the start button nothing happens. So I am looking for a replace it. Does anyone have an Idea on the best Microwave replacement. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum from Virginia !!!!

As far as the microware, I would just find a microware that as close as possible fit in the hole.

As far as the old one I would check for possible blown fuse in the microwave itself.

Moved thread from the Welcome Mat section to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's post is strictly about an appliance and not an introduction post.

2006 Sunseeker 2860DS. 5 or 6 years ago our microwave blew when an electrician miswired our 30 amp pedestal at home.

Any microwave the same size will work or that's what I was told when I asked. Look at Walmart, big box home improvement centers. Our rv dealer replaced it at the electricians expense (the converter blew too and the electrician paid for that too)

Our oe microwave was a Magic Chef. New one is a Criterion I believe. I think it was way less than $100. Works great!

There are many to choose from. Sadly, I've never seen an LG or GE.
Generally, fit and appearance are deciding factors. Note that RV micros come with the retaining plate that matches the micro. That's the primary difference between a counter-top micro and an RV micro. Look carefully at the retaining/trim plate. They are not all perfect matches in alignment with the factory model.

Illustration of choices.
Look on eTrailer, too.

Here is the Magic Chef replacement my rv dealer bought and installed for me.

Note, the manual says its a counter top model. I would remove yours and take the mounting bracket off and see if it fits whatever you're considering. It is not absolutely necessary to buy a built in which are 4 to 5 times the price.

Had the Criterion now for 5 years put thousands of miles on it during my travels.

Hope this helps.
