Freezer Defrosting but not draining.

I get up each day and find water from the freezer defrost in my bottom fridge drawer with my cheese. I have moved the drain outside to the top of the vent to make a "P" trap. I have blown out the line from inside and out and still I can watch it look like it is draining out and then just come right back in and runs down the inside back wall into my cheese drawer Please what am I doing wrong???

Is your catch tray correctly positioned under your metal cooling vanes?
I don't use a p-trap; many don't.
