Furnace

I just bought a 2017 forest river.
When I was looking at it, the previous owner turned the furnace on, and the blower started.
Now that I have it home, I was going to start the furnace so that I could start setting it up. There is a red light next to the furnace fuse, and when I try to change the fuse, it blows instantly.
Any suggestions?

Moved thread from the Forum Administration/News/Member Accounts sub-forum, to the Appliances and Electronics sub-forum since the OP's questions are specific to that sub-forum and have nothing to do with the Forum Administration/ News/Member Accounts sub-forum.

Telling people you have a 2017 Forest River is like telling people you have a Ford. I’m sure there’s a lot more details.

And…..there’s all kinds of different furnaces in RVs. Make? Model?

Do you own a multimeter and know how to use it?
You could start by disconnecting the wire that feeds power to the furnace, right at the furnace. With that wire disconnected (at the furnace) reinstall a fuse and see if it blows instantly.

If it does, the culprit is likely in the wire(s) that run from the fuse box to the furnace. if it doesn't, the problem is likely in the furnace or the furnace control module.
