I just turned off the A/C circuit breaker in the 120v circuit panel. The Heat Pump in the A/C can not come on without 120v. After that the 12v gas furnace worked just fine. I found out later, it could be done with the thermostat.
I did it that way because my Samlex EVO is on all the time, with shore power it is in bypass. I unplug from shore power and it switches to Inverter power in milliseconds. It is like having a UPS for my FR3. I alway have 120v power in my FR3. I'm thinking of setting the clock on the microwave.
