Furnace noise

Last night our furnace woke us up making a loud clicking noise. We shut the furnace off, but when I restarted it this morning the same clicking noise happened. I did not leave it on long enough to see if it was heating for fear that damage would happen if I let it keep running. We are in a Sunseeker 2500ts.

The clicking noise is the heater trying to ignite the propane. If it does not light, the heater will try (click) a few more times than stop.

That is normal. It is not getting Propane.

Figured it out

I opened the furnace cover on the outside of the Rv and was able to see into the squirrel cage fan. Something was sitting on the blades......a 2inch piece of electrical tape, presumably from the factory because it had some sawdust stuck to it. Iím guessing that it stuck to the blades for the first few months after leaving the factory and finally became unstuck last night and made a loud clicking sound.

Amazing. I wonder how much it would cost the manufacturers to run a shop vac through a unit they build before things are closed up? Oh I have it. Nothing. Wouldn't that be a simple customer service item?
