Furnace Problems

This weekend while camping, we tried running our furnace during the cool nights. The furnace will run and blow hot air when we have our generator running, but once we shut the generator off the furnace will shut off and not try to reignite the pilot for the furnace. This is even with a full battery. Any suggestions on where to begin to troubleshoot? This is in a 2015 XLR Hyperlite 30HDS. Thanks

Did you use a multi-meter to determine the battery was fully charged? I ask because your symptoms mirror common "low battery" symptoms.

I did not use a multi-meter to test the battery, but we also had a 120v solar charger hooked up to the battery all day and the solar charger control panel also showed a full battery.

Might be close enough to 12 volts to light the panel, but without a proper meter we don’t really know the reading. Also....maybe it doesn’t have much if any staying power (AMPS) to do the job anymore. Has anyone done a load test on the house battery (or batteries)?

Is the battery on or off. If off it will not have 12 volts to run it. Gen on converter is supplying the 12 volts. I know it sounds simple but it could have been bumped off.
