Furrion DV7200 no L/R speaker adjust

I'm the new owner of a 2020 Geo Pro G19FD. Having a couple of problems with the Furrion DV7200 A/V system.

1) I can find no left/right speaker balance adjustment through the radio controls nor in the owner's manual.

2) My internal "left" speaker is not working at all in simple AM/FM radio mode nor when receiving audio from the TV using the AV mode.

Thanks for your help.

Something is either miswired or not wired at all. I don't believe there is a balance / fader control on that unit. It's zone 1 and zone 2. That's it.

Pull the unit ( super easy ). Trim ring pops off. Two screws holding it in and then confirm wiring is complete.

Here's a link to the manual and wiring diagram.

Fixed it. Pulled the failing left speaker out and found one wire disconnected.

All better now. Still no L/R speaker balance adjustment found.

Thanks.

Be glad you didn't get an earlier model with the DV7100. They wired the balance control on that one to switch between inside and outside speaker! Oh, btw, neither 7100 or 7200 is stereo!

Pull the radio/head unit

I found that both my inside speakers was left and both my outside speakers were right... crazy how factory wired it... just any old way to get it out the door...

I have pulled the DV7200 on ours to connect the TV sound to play through the AV option. There is not a speaker balance that I could find anywhere on the unit. There were only the RCA, HDMI, etc. plug recepticles. So, when the system is on, it appears that the speakers are always in balance (front/back internal speakers, left/right outside speakers) with no ability to tilt the balance more to one speaker or the other.

I just reviewed manual, as you discovered, there are no balance or fade adjustments. I also saw this: NOTE: All speakers must be connected as shown. If one wire is removed or not connected properly, all speakers on relevant zone will fail to work. It is of importance to pay attention in speaker polarity. Connection with incorrect speaker polarity will lead to poor sound quality

I think this Furrion unit is worthless. Mine **** the bed. I removed it and the speakers, opening up nice addition storage. We now simply use a plug in speaker for TV and our phones for music and radio. Best
