Furrion NV2200

Hello,

We bought a Leprechaun 220QB in October. It came with an in dash Furrion NV2200 system. However, it didn't arrive with the navigation feature enabled. I've since learned that you can activate the navigation function by purchasing an SD card from Furrion for $199.00.

Has anyone bought the card? If so, are you happy with the purchase. We need to get a new GPS before heading south this spring and it's coming down to enabling the in dash unit or purchasing a Garmin or Rand McNally RV GPS.

Thanks for the feedback,

Personally, I would go with the Garmin or RM. I recently purchased the Garmin, and although I haven't used it yet, I really like the setup, display, and ease of use. It's going to run you a good bit more, but I've had GPS units that weren't worth the time it took to find something. I don't have any experience on the Furrion unit though.

I would spend the bucks on the portable as you can move it from vehicle to vehicle. Your choice as to which one to buy. Later RJD

I decided to buy the Rand McNally Truckers atlas and use a combination of google maps and Furkot to plan my routes.
