Furrion observation camera

We just picked up our new HTT and had them install a observation camera on the rear. It worked great on the ten minute drive to the shake down camp ground but the next morning the monitor stopped working. They replaced the monitor but now the camera connects as the left side cam. Anyone know why or how to get it to pair as the rear cam?

Don't have a furrion but generally there is a setting in the monitor menu to make the camera's which ever you prefer or pick one to go full screen with, regardless of what it is assigned as. I would check that menu out as a first try at a solution.

We recently purchased a Cedar Creek Hathaway 34IK which has a Furrion rear camera. Our problem is that with the running lights on it does not come on. If you disconnect and reconnect it it will stay on until you shut the running lights off. If you turn lights back on the camera does not come back on and I can not figure out how to get it on with out getting the ladder out and climbing up to manually disconnect and the reconnect. Any suggestions?

Jrussellrn - I do not have a fix for you but want to let you know that we picked up our 2020 34ik in May and do not experience your issue. Our cameras (we have rear and 2 side cameras) come on when we turn it on. The rear camera is displayed unless we change to one of the sides by using the touch screen. camera. I have disconnected the unit from my truck and it still displays until I drive out of range. Obviously when disconnected the 34ik has not running lights on.

Thank you. We are confused because we have read in several places that it is wire through the running lights but with what you are saying proves that it isn’t. What I can’t figure out is why would it work by disconnecting and reconnecting but once the unit is disconnected from truck it won’t come back on. All I can figure is it either has a loose connection or the unit isn’t working. It’s a small thing, otherwise we are thrilled with the Cedar Creek 34IK. We purchased it in July and have used it 5 times and every time we do we find something else we love about it. I guess this will be one of the things we will need to put on our list for warranty work- which by the way has very few items. Happy camping!
