Furrion Rooftop AC / Fan Speed

I purchased a new 2023 Surveyor Legend.
The rooftop AC has 2 speeds Hi / Lo, when the air is blowing it’s so loud that it’s hard to even have a decent conversation or yet alone hear the TV, radio etc within the TT.
Would be nice to slow down the speed but I doubt there is an option for that. Anyone have any suggestions??

I’m guessing you are running it with the “dump” open, is that correct? It makes a big difference how loud it is.

Dump?? Not sure what you mean by that. Care to elaborate a little more? Thanks.

If your A/C is a ducted system, sending cool air to different outlets throughout the RV, there is a feature that allows the cool air to be "dumped" from the fixture on the ceiling directly below the rooftop unit.

If no ducting, and air is discharged from directly below the A/C unit there is no "dump" feature.

Look at the ceiling fixture for a slide control that controls air direction to ducting or direct discharge from air box.

Also, if you havent yet, read the owners manual for your unit. If you don't have, Furrion has manuals posted on their website.

In closing I have a Furrion 15k A/C unit and find it to be far quieter than the original Coleman Mach IiI.

Since I converted, using same thermostat as Coleman I only have two fan speeds. Medium and High. Usually a Furrion installation with Furrion thermostat will have three speeds. Low, Medium, and High.
