Genesis Audio/Visual Remote Control

I purchased a Flagstaff Fifth Wheel Trailer in August of 2013. It has installed a Genesis Audio/Visual Controller GT-3.0. Never tried to use it much until lately. It works fine in manual mode but the remote control will not work at all. I have definitely installed fresh batteries correctly. Cant say for sure if the remote ever worked. The remote seems to be just a cheap generic unit with no markings or model number at all. Also cant get it to be controlled by my DirecTv remote as there is no listing for Genesis. Is there a contact for the manufacturer or supplier of this unit or where I can get a replacement remote? Any other suggestion? Thanks
