Genesis GT 3.0 remote

We recently purchased a 2014 Forest River fifth wheel that has the Genesis get 3.0 entertainment system. The remote did not have batteries in it so I installed batteries but the remote will not work. The eject light comes on when I push buttons but nothing happens. I made sure to push the gt3.0 button first. Is there a way to reset the remote? I removed the whole unit and unplugged it for 15 minutes to reset it but that didn’t work either. Any help would be appreciated.

You said you recently purchased this 2014 rig.
Did you ever confirm at any time during the sale, that the Genesis system works?
The Genesis system could be at fault, and not the remote at all.
The remote may be a separate issue.

As far as power, is the Genesis AC or DC powered?
Confirmed there is power available?
Does any mode of the Genesis work? Radio? DVD? CD? Aux?

The unit itself works. We listen to music through it and the Bluetooth works. I can’t get the tv sound working through it and I can’t get into the setup screen. It looks like you need the remote for that. I also tried to get the remote to “learn” the tv remote but that didn’t work either.
