Getting ready for maiden voyage and AC is very loud

Hello everyone, we are Getting ready for maiden voyage in our no boundaries 19.8 trailer with a 13.5k air conditioning unit which is running very loud. I measured about 75 dB inside the trailer. Is this normal? Should I have it looked at? Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a Coleman or Dometic? I have a 15000 Dometic now and it is quieter and smoother than our previous 13500 Coleman. Our Coleman seemed to vibrate a lot with quite a bit of noise as well. Not sure of the decibels. Our dealership said that is how they tend to run. Certainly keeps the outside noise outside when on.

If you don't have ducted a/c, the "Blast from the Center" air conditioners have always been loud. Not sure whether yours is louder than normal.

It’s a dometic unit 13.5 unit, With my husband because he is a carton it is loud and it’s got a little bit of a cling to it but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is normal from the sounds of it.

It’s not ducted, it is a center blast. I’m beginning to think this is normal.

Mine's a ducted 13500 Coleman. I added one of those Airflow systems to it which helps but I believe that's just one of those necessary evils of TT life. Better 'loud and cool' than 'quiet and hot.'

Normal noise. My biggest issue was that the air from our ceiling unit pretty much just skimmed across the ceiling and into the open storage bay over our bed. Made a defector to aim the air downward towards the bed. Now one cool cucumber!

She meant 'cartoon'. Like Roger Rabbit. I want to know what 'a little bit of a cling to it' means. Like peaches?

My Dometic 13.5 got really noisy and it turned out to be wasps building a mud nest on one of the fan blades...Removed the cowling, removed the mud nest and it quieted right down.
