Girard Tankless Water Heater HELP PLEASE!

Hi Everyone, People keep describing the white reset button on the tankless Water Heater.. Two disk shaped pieces with wires attached. One white and one black. Both of mine are black and not a single reset button in sight. I have already watched the Youtube video... I know exactly what I am supposed to be looking for. It's not there. My unit is a 2012 year model GDWH-1M.
Is that the same as everyone elses? Filled the gas tanks today, blew out the schumtz as my brother calls it. It's all clean and tidy in there. The first time I tried it it started heating for a VERY short time, water did get hot. I went and told my brother that it was working and an hour or so later we went back out and it wasn't working??? Got on the phone and watched the video about the reset switch... Yay there is a reset switch, easy fix.... nope nada... checked the flappy thing in the exhaust blower, it flaps like a pro! I'm in Escondido and it is stinkin hot here.. don't know if that has anything to do with it.. I would really appreciate any ideas from all y'all smarties out there!

Have you done any tests with a meter to see if one of the cutouts is actually tripped?

Turn off all power and unplug one of the spade connectors and check resistance across the limit. It should be zero or very close.

Are you sure you have the GDWH-1M? All I can find is the GSWH-1M.
