Greystone electric heat won't shut off.

Hello ,I have a Greystone electric fireplace in a 2013 Keystone Cougar RV that won't shut off.Model no. Is F2609E. I have a electronics background .Bad thermostat? I would like to install a regular wall thermostat and bypass the one On the front panel.Has anybody had the same problem.Hard to find tech support on this company.

Some models don't shut the fan down (fan is typically a rocker switch with a separate thermostat control) but do shut off the heating element per the thermostat setting. This may or may not be what you are referring to.

You can roast marshmallows in mine sometimes...even at like 66 degrees. I have to either turn it down or roast. I do like having it though.

I am sure you could add/change/relocate the temp sensor I am sure...or maybe add a thermostat, may be some trouble if you are as stupid as me??
