Hanging a TV.

Hey all,
I have a Forest River 2020 32BH. I’d like to hang a tv in the master bedroom and bunk room. There is coax and electric outlet on the wall up high. Is there any support behind these areas to install a tv mount???

Try “thumping” the wall and listen, or try a stud finder to help.
Good luck.

most units ive seen come with a sticker parking where the reinforcement is. shouldn't be to hard to find knocking on wall and finding the solid spot.

I don't know what a 32BH is but if a Rockwood/Flagstaff you can use a Magnet in the TV mount area to locate the Metal plate! Youroo!!

I never understood all this worry about hanging a TV in a RV. Simply decide where it needs to go to look proper, and attach the mount. Lay out the hole patter, drill a small pilot hole and see if there is backing, by using an awl or similar ice pick. If there is additional wood there, you're golden and just use the proper screws. If it is only paneling, use a properly installed hollow wall anchor, and you're done.

Instead of the cheap little ones for sheet rock (with a fine thread #8 screw), go to any NAPA or auto parts store (Harbor Freight) and get a set of jack nuts, with 1/4"-20 screws. Costs a couple dollars. Plenty of YouTube videos on proper installation and use.

It’s a Forest River Vibe Bunk house. May be a good idea using a strong magnet as long as its not aluminum. Thanks.

Blank-
I’ve built my own house so being able to do it is no problem. I just figured I’d ask because some people have hung multiple items and have great ideas. Hanging from paneling no matter what fastner you use will not work. There isnt any stickers on the walls stating hang TV here. Thanks for your time.....
