What does any low setting mean? it might help in figuring out what the problem is.

Low settings of fan low, ac low, ac low auto. Fan hi, ac hi, ac hi auto all work. I’m suspecting it’s the GL wire (brown here) but any help welcome. The green GH wire must be working great?

you would be correct in that interpretation. "G" is always fan, Y is always cooling, W is always heat. HVAC Industry standards

There's very little difference between high and low on the AC, you can hardly hear or feel the difference. The furnace fan is controlled by the furnace. Make sure the fan setting is set to "auto" or the AC fan will run whenever the furnace is on.

Does it run on high all the time or does the fan stop when it is on low?

Have you tried swapping the GH & GL wires to see if it continually runs on low instead of high?
