Help! Can't get fridge started

Hi all,

We are brand new TT owners. We have a 2016 Apex BHS300 we got less than a month ago and We leave out of town for the weekend tomorrow for its second outing but can't get the refrigerator to light. We have a Dometic fridge and we can hear it clicking going through its cycle and then nothing.
We ran the stove and that's working fine. We've attempted this for over 30 minutes and it will not light. We went camping just over a week ago and it worked.

What else can we try?

It's possible there's that much air in the line.
It may have never been bled out.

Help! Can't get fridge started

Sometimes if I turn my propane off at the tanks, the fridge takes a while to start when I turn it back on (30-min seems excessive). I would try turning on your stove and let it burn for a couple minutes, then turn on the fridge while they are still burning.

You never mentioned that, which would have helped.

It's possible that a spider made a Web in the burner.
Can you blow it out with compressed air

Everything is lighting. We have turned the stove on and let it run multiple times. The ignition is sparking but does not light.

Propane valve may be bad or there's no power to it.

What is the fridge make and model?

Mostly. Husband is leveling it now to see if that's the problem. 😳 that would be embarrassing.

Would the check light come on after it cycles with no power? I don't know the model off the top of my head. Will get that if this doesn't work.

There's several fuses behind fridge in outside panel.
Lower right behind a black cover.

You do have a full battery right?

Yes battery is full. My husband is outside while I'm inside watching it attempt to ignite.

Level will not prevent lightoff, do you also have 120 volt 2 way fridge? Meanwhile most common cause of no light is misalign of igniter or gas blockage( less common). Can you reach in with barbecue hand lighter while it runs start up mode?

It means the spark igniter is not working or not aligned properly.

Have you had it running on elect. ? Is the refrigerator cold and you just want to start running it on gas. If so it may be cold enough. and wont ignite the burner till it needs to get colder. Remember there is NO pilot on the new models.

Check your 12V battery charge sounds like the gas valve is not opening that is controlled by the circuit board that needs 12 volt DC very common problem I have seen. Good Luck

I'll answer this as best I can. It ran on gas before our trip 2 weeks ago, and then turned onto electric at the campsite. It sat for 2 weeks and then we attempted to light it yesterday. Can you elaborate on the No pilot on newer models part? We could see the flame attempting to ignite last night but nothing happened. You could even hear the puff of flame but it never caught and would then start the cycle again. Hope that makes sense.
