I have a High Pointe microwave, model EC028BMR and it just starts by itself or add some 30 seconds to the cooking time ounce in a while when operating. I saw that there is a recall for the Frigidaire microwaves but I don't see any for the High Pointe. Does anybody have a problem with their High Pointe microwave?
My high point microwave died and was replaced under warranty. They're cheap- that's about it.

Finally, my microwave has been replaced by a new one, same model, under warranty, even if I didn't take the warranty extension and my one year basic warranty has expired. In Quebec there is a legal warranty saying that any item should last for a reasonable lifetime, so I think they didn't have the choice.
