High pointe microwave brand new not working

Hey guys, I am so thankful ahead of time for all the responses I am getting on other post so thank you

20pack10 brand new

Microwave is not working:/

I removed access panel to see it the plug it's pluggged into is live and sure working just fine with another item of such.... so I would say the microwave is trash? Junk? I have tried every thing

Yep, RV manufacturers source out the cheapest parts and as consumers we are stuck having to replace it with a real brand name product.

The highpoint microwave oven doesn't have many favorable reviews if you google it.

Is yours completely dead with no LED lights on up front? Is there any sign of life?

Before you trash the microwave, take it out and plug it into an outlet in your home. If it works, you may have an issue with your RV's electrical ssytem.

If it is new and under warranty, I'd pursue that route if you can afford the hassle.

Good luck and let us know what happens.

PS Did you use a tester in the outlet to make sure

I have power at the outlet it is plugged into...

Does nothing. Zero NAda zero action

Can I buy a quality microwave and get a border like this one?

Do I just go buy the same size one at Lowes or Home Depot in one the same size just name brand

Not sure you'll find one the same size, but good luck hunting. I think there have been several threads from folks wondering how to deal with the bezel since the new microwave isn't the same size as the old one.

If it's brand new, I'd go back to the dealer or the microwave manufacturer for a new one under warranty.

I had 2 microwaves quit. I then went to a bigger box store and bought one that fit the hole. I also went to camping world and bought a microwave kit.

Hey again every one I wanted to report back...

Contacted high pointe directly which I believe went thru a company called " Collins & company" and I want to say they are very helpful.

Called and explained the situation of the microwave issues which was no power at all but power at the plug was good....

I called and the rep quickly got my email address and emailed me the Warrent to forum and procedure of this.

In a short paragraph , then got all my info CC info etc , mailed me a brand new microwave.

In return I have to
Mail back power cord(not the whole microwave) and the silver serial # decal along with the Warrenty sheet of all the info I filled out to do the claim....

Installed new microwave and works flawless... no issues. Very easy install.
'So I just want to say thanks to Collins and company( blue pointe)

There's a glass fuse just inside the case where the cord enters, just in case it happens again.

You'd think the manufacturer would have told him about that.

i have one of these high point microwaves that seems to be working fine but i noticed there is no fan running when it is on . since most microwaves that i have been around have a fan running i was wondering if yours has a fan running while it is in operation. i cooked in it and noticed that the steam was not getting out.
thanks

When I use the convection my shelf above the oven gets very hot. I had never noticed before. Someone on the threads made a comment about moisture not being removed on the microwave operation. I am not sure if that is also a problem or not.

I'll be 100% honest

If it was not under Warrenty I would have went to a big box store and spent 100-300 bucks on a name brand unit and not a lower end unit(don't get me wrong) the high pointe microwave looks nice and does the job, but next time(if I do) have issues ill just buy a Samsung or a quality product
