Hot Water Temp

Hi folks,

We purchased an Apex Nano 194BHS last year in the fall. It's a big upgrade from the ol' r-Pod we had previously.

One thing we're noticing is the hot water temp is hot. I mean REALLY hot! I have to be careful when I'm washing dishes not to burn myself.

I'm wondering if there's a way to adjust the temperature of the hot water heater like there is in a house?

I watched a very old video where they replace the non-adjustable thermostat with one that is adjustable, but I don't know if this is possible or not:

Asked the same questioner a couple of years back. Just use the mixing valve on the faucets to adjust the temp. It will make the hot water last longer and it’s a lot easier than rewiring and also is 1 less thing to go wrong.

Both Atwood and Dometic thermostats can be replaced with adjustable ones.
