Those blocks are an excellent idea. They have multiple uses. He can use them for weightlifting so he doesn't have to carry his barbells and dumbbells with him.

I carry a plastic jug, fill it with water at the CG and hang it under the dish with a rubber bungee cord.

Dump the water when packing up and stow the jug in the basement.

Teaman here.

Yes, tripod and water jugs worked for me when I had Direct TV, Pretty stable then.

Question - why would an RV park prohibit tripods?

I could see buying them at a home improvent store near the campground and leaving them by the dumpster when you leave.

That is quite the system. I think the ladder attached to the ladder needs to a little taller.

While his ladder may not look good, many has been the time when I wished I had an 8' ladder instead of my 6 footer.

LOL........when the wind starts a blowin the dish will stay there.....the camper may be on its side, but save the dish at all costs. Thats almost enough blocks for a foundation of an outhouse. You always have to figure in re-purposing.

We may have shared one of these pics before ... but seems peripherally on-topic.

"You can never have enough Cinder Blocks."

This was our previous rig ... Summer of this picture, we ultimately spent 4-1/2 months living in that TC.
