How to mount the tv bracket to exterior?

I have a coachmen clipper 17' TT ultra light and they installed a bracket to the inside for my tv and swivel arm and gave me an extra bracket for the exterior of the trailer. I was just wondering how do I know where to install it. Do trailers have studs and will a stud finder be good enough? Your suggestions would be great for anyone who has done this?

I would contact you dealer to see where to mount the bracket. Yes most rv's have studs either wood or aluminum. The location of them could be hard to find and I don't know if a stud finder would work. The other question to ask yourself is, How much are you planning on using it outside??? I have one on my trailer and three years into use and I have NEVER used the tv outside. But I don't go camping to watch tv (but the kids do inside)!

If you are camping and it gets cool enough to have dew on the side of the camper, you can spot the studs real easy.
