Inverter?

I did not get much of a walk through when I traded for a new fifth wheel and I am not very Electrical minded. I just bought a Columbus Compass 358bh and I have a Model WF-5110HP inverter in one of the compartments. When do I turn this on? when I am hooked up to shore power, Driving down the road When?

Assuming you have a residential fridge you would turn on the inverter when traveling to keep your food cold.
I assume you have two batteries as well?

YEs we have a residential fridge and 2 batteries, so that is the only time we use it? Driving down the road what about when I have my generators hooked up?

You'll only need inverter when you have no shore power I.E. Driving down the road.
