Inverter Issue

Have a Keystone 395RL with residential fridge. Came with WFCO WF5110HP 1000W inverter which has a shore power bypass. Have always been on shore but getting ready to leave on 2.5 week trip and tested inverter off shore since we have some dry camping planned.

When connected to shore power it works fine but when on battery, it will not turn on. Called WFCO and talked to tech. Asked me to do couple tests after I explained there is an auto reset breaker on the pos between battery and inverter and there was power getting thru the breaker.

First he asked that I test voltage at pos/neg connection from battery to inverter: 12.9v
Then asked to disconnect neg wire from neg connection at inverter and measure voltage from neg block at inverter to the neg cable: 0.75v.

Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from him as to what that means but I presume not good. Inverter is under warranty so looking for options to remedy issue. Suggestions??

Worse case I guess I buy a second inverter to solve my issue now with forethought that it can later be added to the system for ac and/or solar.
