Mine has never connected so you're doing good there. At what point are you noticing disconnects? The FR rep told me that if you leave the range of the Bluetooth connection you have to re-pair to the controller. That distance is about 60 feet. So if you go off somewhere and we're connected you would have to reconnect. I can't perform this to test and verify since I'm still working on initial connection. Hopefully I'll get there one day.

Did some digging and I called Patrick Industries and asked about the iRV technologies membrane control panel. The Patrick operator directed me to their brand QAV. I spoke with the receptionist there that connected me to Nelson the QAV Tech Manager. I left a message and will let you know if I find out any additional details. I was just glad to dig through and find the responsible manufacturer of the panel.

Turns out it's older Bluetooth hardware and software on some panels. They need to swap out the panels to get the new Bluetooth hardware as the Bluetooth standard changed.

So the dealer service tech was able to connect a galaxy s8 to the control panel. The trick is using the correct app in the google play store. You can't use the app from the bar code sticker. It has to be the newest version app in the google play store. I have a iPhone 6S Plus and it no work.

I recently got a new phone, Samsung Galaxy S7 and now the app for the panel locks up as soon as you turn it on. I give up!

There a reset button below the tank levels. It's a little hole that requires a paper clip to activate.

I need to get a new panel also, I got the recall notice a couple of weeks ago. I downloaded the new app which does not lock up on my phone now but it still will not connect to the panel.

My tank levels are not working after the camper has been at the dealership. The levels worked fine on our first trip. So we have to wait for the new board to fix the levels and hopefully allow phone connection. Board reset yielded no changes.

Any updates on this "No Relay Connected" issue ?
We got our 2018 8311WS last Saturday (9/23) and everything seems to be working OK except for the app. Tried the reset, the phone next to the panel and nothing...
The iRV app works like a champ!

I just got my new 2018 8311ws 2 months ago and I have the exact same issue. I can’t even get iRV or forest river on the phone to talk about this. The camper place we bought from says to contact them. Ugh!

The control panel that came with my camper is supposed to have a Bluetooth (BT) connectivity that allows one to connect it with devices such as mobile phones. With this feature working you can control the lights, awnings, slides and you can also check the tank levels from your mobile phone. The panel in my camper is not communicating with other devices. I get a “ No Relay Connected” message .
After making sure that my phone was up to date, working fine and that the App was the latest, I decided to contact iRV technologies to see if they could point me in the right direction. They referred me to QAV (Quest Audio Video) a Patrick Industries company, as they manufacture the panel.
I spoke to their Tech Manager (Nelson) who suggested a list of procedures to troubleshot the problem. We started by making sure the Bluetooth on my phone was working properly, reinstalling the App and bringing the phone a couple of inches from the panel to “pair” it for the first time. None of these worked, the panel could not be “found”, it is supposed to send out a signal that can be seen by a BT phone but not in this case, we can see the list of available Bluetooth devices including two from the camper (iRV 32 and iRV 68) that come from the bunk house radio and the main living room area.
The next step was to press the reset button located on the front of the panel. This did not help. The last step was to unplug the CAT5 cable that connects the panel to the camper (the only wire on the back of the panel). The result is the same, no communication and the “No Relay Connected” message. According to Mr. Nelson all this indicates that my panel has a bad Bluetooth chip.
THIS PANEL HAS A 1 YEAR WARRANTY!!!
Dealing with Camping World now.....

Bummer. I had my board firmware updated and it didn’t work as well. Perhaps it’s time for the warranty replacement.

From within the app I have to turn blue tooth off and back on to get it to connect. Not great but it works.

****UPDATE*****
Today I received the replacement panel and it works like it was supposed to work !
Apparently it was just a bad Bluetooth module. Everything covers under the factory warranty!!!
I’m a Happy camper !!!!

I'm having the same problem with the iRV app and panel on my new 8289ws. It connected the first time tried, but never again. We're leaving for a 2-week trip soon; I hope I can get it replaced before then.
Thanks for all the information; at least I know I'm not the only one with this problem.
