Question Jensen 975 vs 968 Bluetooth, vs ???

From what I've read the Jensen 975 seems to be the most recommended replacement for the Concertone pos in our Mini-Lite.

Has anyone installed the Bluetooth Jensen 968 as a replacement, and if so, is their a similar wiring adapter harness as their seems to be with the Jensen 968. I'm relatively capable, so could probably figure out how to re-wire without an adapter harness, but I like to keep it simple where I can.

I have been tasked by the Commander In Chief to replace the non-functioning Concertone unit, and would really like a Bluetooth option if at all possible. Any thoughts or advice towards or against any specific unit would be greatly appreciated.

What is the advantage of having a Bluetooth in your rig?

I have a BT radio, it sounds like I am in a 55 gallon drum to the people that call me.

He may be wanting the BlueTooth audio capability. I wanted to ensure I had BT with my new unit as I listen to internet radio (Pandora, Slacker, Serious / XM)..

just a thought...

I'd like the Bluetooth option to be able to control music from my iPhone to the stereo while lounging around, or sitting by the fire.

If you're looking for the Jensen AWM975, we sell them for $239.99 plus to make things simple and plug and play, I'd grab the wiring adapter 31100133 for an additional $17.99. Price on the AWM968 is $209.99 but would take a little more creative wiring.

Thanks for the reminder.

Thanks for the info. I have the Concertone #RV2004DS in the trailer. Will that wiring adapter work with it if we purchase the AWM975?

I am not familiar with that Concertone unfortunately, the Jensen adapter I had listed works if your Concertone wiring currently consists of a 14pin plug and a 4pin plug.

Thanks for the help. I'll have to pull the unit and see what's back there.
