Jenson AWM965 - Volume drops when exhaust fan is on

We recently purchased a new 2013 Forest River Salem 25' trailer and took it out on it's maiden voyage last week. We noticed, while listening to the Jenson AWM965 radio and we turn on the kitchen stove exhaust fan, the volume drops in half. We didn't have any other lights or applicances on and were not hooked up to 110 or a generator (dry camping). Dual batteries were fully charged. Suggestions?

Thank you,

Lowflyr

I have a Salem unit too. I have no idea what brand of radio in in my unit but have only used it twice so I can't say if it is affected by the fan like yours. However, the exhaust fan does interfere with the TV picture but once the fan is turned off the picture returns.
