keyless entry

i just got a 2012 grey wolf 27bhks
the keyless entry does not work.. i was told when i got it that it did but the battery was not hooked up at the time.. anyione have a common issue with this?. i see a few say to change the battery. but where is the battery and how do i access it???

Best to google it. There are several types. YouTube has instructions for most of them. I installed one I bought online, love it only complaint it eats batteries (4-AA) have to replace about every 4 months... mine has 2 phillips screws on the inside to access batts.
