Lamps over dinner table

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to change / remove the light bulb from the lamp above our table. I have attached 2 photos. One is side view the other is looking up into lamp.
Any help would be appreciated. I've tried turning it and also gently pulling down on it

I finally got it out. It appears to be corroded.

Can you post a IMG of the bulb?

Here is a picture..a contributing factor to the difficulty in removing tbe bulb is the pendant glass shade is small and my hands are not.

Replace it with an LED and hopefully you won't have to do that for a long, long time.

yes those bulbs are hell to get out!!!! have to push and turn and I was afraid it would break!
