LED light strip on awning

I have a 2019 XLR Boost that came with a blue led light strip that runs the entire length of the awing. It was sewn to the awning and the thread is already rotted and now the light strip has fallen off. I tried some two sided tape to stick it on the camper that did not last but a few days. I can't figure out the wire, so I don't know how to unhook it. Any Ideas on how to fix this?

Awning LED strip

My Awning LED strip was stuck under the metal lip where the awning was attached to my Grey Wolf 29VT. I ordered a 16’ self adhesive LED strip from Amazon to replace mine. The strip can be trimmed to whatever length you need. It comes with a black and red wire to wire into your existing trailer wiring. Here is one like I ordered.

Blue LED Strip Light, 12V 16.4ft/5m Waterproof (Water-Resistance IP65) Flexible Cuttable 300 Units SMD2835 LED Tapes (No Plug/Adapter)

Thank you. I will see if I can figure out how to unhook this one and get a new one.
