Loud A/C unit.

Used our A/C for the first time last week and wow is it loud. Couldnt hear each other, or the TV over the noise. Is it louder in these rear entertainment trailers?
Thanks,
Tim

They are loud in pretty much all trailers. There may be exceptions. I just got a sound bar for my TV today because of it. There's really not much you can do about it except turn it off. Not a good thing in the summer though. You get used to it after awhile.

Mine is only "very loud" when the main area AC cold air dumps are open and on high fan. After the "quick cool" is over and we want to watch some TV, I close the dumps and let the AC blow through the ceiling vents on low fan.

That's what I just did, that what is was. Only thing I couldn't use the tv and A/C at the same time on our generator.

Once the camper reaches temperature and on low fan, you may find there is enough surplus power to run the TV.

If not, replace the one you have with a new LED version (less than 1 amp draw when on).
